Resumen
El articulo explora el anclaje en la epistemología del testimonio de las tesis de Carmen Vázquez sobre la prueba pericial. Se propone, para ello, una distinción entre teorías generales de la justificación testimonial -el plano en el que se sitúan los debates entre teorías reduccionistas y antirreduccionistas, así como entre las diversas teorías híbridas- y teorías especiales, que consisten en la aplicación de una teoría general de la justificación testimonial a un determinado tipo de testimonio o un concreto contexto testimonial. Desde esta perspectiva, las dos concepciones diversas de la justificación que el libro desarrolla para los peritos peritos de parte y los peritos de la confianza del tribunal corresponderían a dos teorías especiales, sin que, con todo, quede delineada con claridad cuál sería la teoría general
de la justificación testimonial asumida por la autora, lo que da lugar a algunas dificultades que el articulo pone de relieve.
